MISSION STATEMENT -

To provide a platform for a competitive Roosterfishing tournamentusing a catch and release format, adhering to IGFA rules and species conservation.

The International Roosterfish Tournament (IRT) is the oldest Roosterfish tournament in the world. We have always gathered at the VanWormer Resorts since 1966 (50 years) on the East Cape of the Sea of Cortez, Baja Sur, Mexico. Friends and the world's best Roosterfish anglers gather for a 3 day catch and release competition to match their skill to the most exotic and aggressive predator patrolling the Pacific shores from mid-Baja, Mexico to Peru. The Roosterfish.

OFFSHORE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Our Roosterfish Champions have attended the OWC Tournament for over 14 years and have always qualified in the top half of the field.  The Offshore World Championship is held in Quepos, Costa Rica
